The weather was perfect through the year 2011.
The winter was good with lot of snow.
The spring was sunny and dry and the summer was sunny and hot.

Leena and Jukka rowed 60 km in Sulkava. Rowing as one with more than hundred boats was inspiring. The others give you energy.

The temperature of the lake water was 28 ^oC at the most. Leevi and Lotta were swinging many, many hours a day.

A couple of big birch trees were too near the cottage. The power of three men, two women and two children was enormous. The birches were chopped to firewood in two hours.

The summer was good for blueberries. We picked up a lot of blueberries and had several delicious blueberry pies ... mm mm.
